Yesterday, the discolicously duo, The Golden Filter, released both the 12" single for Thunderbird, as well as the accompanying video. Easily one of our favorite songs of 2009, the song is a thumping and driving romp through nearly five and half minutes of sheer radness.

The video is a mysteriously theatrical homage to kids at the beach in all sorts of spiritualistic motions. I don't know, that's the best way I can describe it. Maybe you should take a look and have a go at a descriptor. Either way, we love it.

The Golden Filter's Thunderbird single is available here, complete with a dub mix, remix from Villa, and the B-side cover of The White Stripes Hardest Button to Button. Catch them in NYC when they hit up Music Hall of Williamsburg on December 18.
