And it gives us the best kind of night terrors we could ever hope for.

Hot on the heels of having the Justin Faust remix of Replay celebrated as the Popjustice Song of the Day, Electric Youth get ready, steady and go full throttle into spook mood with a track destined to make your Halloween playlist.

The largely instrumental piece gave us a great set of chills and the dialogue from the 4:00 mark on ensured we wouldn't get a good nights sleep. Exactly what we were hoping for!

Was finally able to crawl out from under the covers and get my hands on the digital release of Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts I-IV

From the Web site dedicated to this mesmerizing release:
Nine Inch Nails presents Ghosts I - IV, a brand new 36 track instrumental collection available right now. Almost two hours of new music composed and recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I - IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.

Trent Reznor explains, "I've been considering and wanting to make this kind of record for years, but by its very nature it wouldn't have made sense until this point. This collection of music is the result of working from a very visual perspective - dressing imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams. I'm very pleased with the result and the ability to present it directly to you without interference. I hope you enjoy the first four volumes of Ghosts."

Given the fact that this release is completely available in digital format, it defeats the purpose of posting links to mp3's here. I've posted the PDF of the entire 40 page booklet that accompanies the album. Yes, it comes as an added bonus with each download, but for those of you who are too lazy to do so, skim through.
