If you're a regular around these parts, you know how much we love us some Little Jackie. And if you were smart, you were at the second installment of the Steve Madden Music events last night. In case you missed it, however, we've got your full recap here.

Thankfully, it was nowhere near as hot outside (and thus inside) as the last event when it was a scorcher near triple digits. To remedy, Little Jackie brought the fire.

Beginning with 28 Butts, the crowd was less than appreciative initially. Too much Lillet? Or just rude jerks talking loudly over the music. Eventually they calmed down when Little Jackie launched into their just released album's title track, The Stoop.

"Anyone who's got a family can relate to this one...", Imani waxed poetic before going into Go Hard or Go Home. Before going into what was to be their final song, The World Should Revolve Around Me, Coppola mentioned her new video for the track, which you can check out here. This song had everyone at attention and feverishly applauding by the end.

Urged for one more as they prepared to exit, Little Jackie obliged, but not before Imani sang an altered line of summer smash darling Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl. "I sucked a dick and I liked it..." was a fitting way to preface their final song, Guys Like When Girls Kiss.

Buy Little Jackie's The Stoop here. And catch them this Saturday July, 12 at the Afropunk.com festival in Fort Greene Park.
