Earlier this month, we brought you part one of a special series as brought to Beastonia by Little Boots. Transferring what we have on to you...we're getting all sorts of laser-y and harp-y yet again.
If you made it to last Friday/Saturday's Little Boots' gigs in London/Leeds you may have witnessed the first WORKING performances of our of the laser harp. And if you weren't there, well, you can catch a sneak peek of the beginnings of the construction below.
There will be 2 more episodes of Boots and her harp happenings...and of course, you can catch them all here.

This looks like a very interesting approach, with the use of low powered individual lasers diodes.
Though the resulting light coming out of the lenses do not look like lasers. I think I saw him putting a laser into place inside the box, so perhaps they are indeed lasers, with the laser light then being defused by the lenses??
So perhaps diffused red and blue lasers?? Not very clean in the way of the beams themselves, that is they look like they will not shoot very far up from the body. Perhaps in performance they will look better ?
I am assuming that he has optic sensors on the body, that are receiving the light reflected by her hands? I wonder if he has built-in an Theorem type effect/device, to help change pitch , or if it is just the analog function/voltage received by the sensors that is changing pitch-volume? Those sensors look like they would also pick up bright stage lights and so trigger out of order of her playing.
If anyone sees this harp in action close up, I will be interested to hear about how it performs !! :-)
