Hey hey! We had a brilliant weekend of dancing at Casiokids, Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival, and The Pool Party, and we'll have the pictures and bruises to show you tomorrow. But for now, we kick off the week with an exclusive web single from BEMF performers and our current obsession, Flashmen!

We've ranted and raved before about Flashmen, their love of disco strings and infectious melodic treatments, so we're PSYCHED to the max to give you their web single for Little Wildkat. There's no label behind this...just rad dudes giving you rad tunes!

Here are the details regarding this massive debut.

Little Wildkat is a disco ballad with a driving arpeggiated bassline that keeps the groove throughout. String hits and lasers abound and Daniel E's voice goes a bit raspy to bring out his Indiana farmboy roots as he croons about friends, landscapes, and landscapes.

And now for the remixes...

Infernal Devices = shiny steampunk sheen/silky smooth pads/funky synth solo
The Phantom's Revenge = the sound of France hits the cornfields of Indiana
Jemex = reps Brooklyn with heavy hitting beat and chopped vocals and romantic breakdown
Mr. Vega = electro barn burner perfect for a 2am New York City dancefloor

And guess what kiddos? You can peep one track right on below. Or hell. Just grab the whole zip file and get to flashing!
