My Love for These Tracks is a Virtual Lock
Evoking the mellowsynthed greatness of Hall & Oates, Lovelock is a newcomer in our ears. And our only regret is not learning of his ace productions sooner.
There's an inate gorgeous nature entrenched in Lovelock's lyrics, but even more so, in the arrangement of his music. With every new band and artist seemingly striving to create that perfect 80's sound, it appears that he does it with unbridled ease. That, my friends, is the mark of a great talent.
On the track Maybe Tonight, a funky bass and harmonic synths guide us into Lovelock's deep pipes on the verses. And then bam! You get a slick almost falsettoed hook on the chorus. There's really not enough good things I can say about this jam and this artist, so you'll have to listen for yourself.
And then you can thank me later.
Equally as delicious? Love Reaction. With female vocals and a thumpier beat, it can easily become a dancing fool's (like myself) Saturday night getting ready to go out staple.
