I'm pretty sure I've used that exact same post title before, but that's ok with me. I would rather repeat than use Easy Like Sunday Morning. That song grates on my last nerve.
Getting on with it...
Bitter:Sweet's The Bomb is a great way to kick off your day. It's got the standard B:S style, mixed with playful lyrics, The Doors-esque inspired keyboard breakdown and the ever infectious horn and vocal pairings. If trip-hop lounge music is wrong, I don't ever wanna be right. Bitter:Sweet is playing the Blender Theater at Gramercy on August 9.

In a song originally written for Róisín Murphy, Sophie Ellis-Bextor proves she has the chops to carry a song not intended for her particular vocal usage. Off and On is a bonafide dancefloor hit. Now if only us Yanks would embrace her the way that everyone across the pond does, she'd be universally huge.

I know that this song remix/edit has been floating around for far too long, and I debated posting it sooner. But now that I haven't seen it around quite as frequently, what better time than now. Adele is a powerhouse. Cold Shoulder is a fantastic song. Mix in Basement Jaxx and you have gold.

Starting this chunk off with a "Listen baby, I'm sorry..." You know what song was the most guilty of all pleasures for me back in the early days of college? Backstreet Boys The Call. SHUT UP! I would dance the hell out of it. Still do. And to prove that these lads aren't completely undanceable, headshotboyz remixed a different Backstreet tune. And thanks guys. I now have my 2008 guilty pleasure. A dare. Just try and NOT move to this remix.

Who is Sheena Beaston's favorite artist of 2008 so far, but will probably end up being the clear cut winner anyways? Cof Cof. I've already written about how much in love I am with their song Dirty Tricks. Forbidden Cocktail is equally as great. What's even better than these tracks? The fact that Cof Cof will be doing 4 shows in NYC in August. You can get the entire Who Said Party album here.

Damn, that BSB mix is sooo bot good. Sorry but I tried, and normally can appreciate funny/weird stuff, but this is very uncool. Even when drunk.
(I own a full album of BSB, so I know what I am talking about, lol!)
For the rest nice post! :)
Hey there I was wondering if there is any chance of reposting the Sophie-Ellis bextor track? I have heard the Calvin Harris remix but haven't had much luck finding the original. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
