For the week beginning July 23, 2008, MTV's Artist of the Week is none other than Santogold. Have you heard of her before? I sure haven't. Good thing we have [M]TV to keep us updated on the latests and greatests.

The real reason I wanted to post this was because Sweatheart sent out a bulletin today noting that they will be in the promos with Santi all this week. Here's what the lads and lasses of Sweatheart have to say:

"Look at us & Plastic Little in Santogold's artist of the week promo commercials! They'll be featured all week usually during the credits at the end of mtv's shitty shows."

I couldn't be happier.

And that was probably not by [M]TV's design. They got lucky.
