Half-awakenly stumbling across my daily blogroll this morning, I was reminded of an old superstition that my classmates in elementary school swore by.
"Rabbit Rabbit White Rabbit" is a common superstition, held particularly among children. The most common modern version states that a person should say “rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit” upon waking on the first day of each new month, and on doing so will receive good luck for the remainder of that month. (from that hot bitch, Wikipedia)
You best believe I uttered those words this morning. Pennies face up and four leaf clovers can take a timeout...here's to hoping for a month (or at least a few successive days) of awesome luck and good fortune!
