Last year, there were a ton of GoldieLocks updates here in the Land of the Beast. And while it's been some time since we've writ the wry "Hardknock Wife", today warrants a wicked word of two about the goings ons of the flaxen-tressed force.

Earlier this morning, Goldie proved my theory that, with it's sense or urgency and immediacy, twitter has become an established outlet for artists releasing music without the overshadowing hands of upper label management types. She released her track through the socially massive application, Lil Bit of Liquor, which is produced by Semothy Jones (known for his work with Lily Allen, Little Boots and Wiley).

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't already spun this upbeat piece of flavor at least 10 times already. It's before 10:30am here in NYC, and this track already has me craving a proper drink.

Further to the twitter statement, GoldieLocks also released the acapella for the song, and has asked for anyone who wishes to give a go at remixing the alcoholically arranged jam. You can download the wav file here.
