This past weekend, I had the pleasure of kicking it with some rad kids. One I hadn't seen in way too long, and the other, new to my world, is a member of the local NYC outfit, Nobody Can Dance. If you're ready for some pure garage/rock goodness, then keep on reading.
Sam, Al, Jon and Ian are the fearsome foursome that comprise NCD. They're all young bucks, but that should not give you any reason to judge their musical styles or abilities. These kids are fucking GOOD.
With songs ranging from straight rock to jammed out joints, influences from late 60s rock legends are conjured up within seconds of throwing on their album, Friendship.
And here's a gentle suggestion for you readers in the NYC area. Nobody Can Dance is playing Bitter End on Friday, July 31. I had BEST see you all there.
