LehtMoJoe has been holding up his vow to remix a song per week, and while I've been slightly neglectful in getting out past mixes to you, I simply could NOT sleep on this one.


His latest offering, Dragonette's soon-to-be-released track, Pick Up The Phone, throws listeners for a roller coaster loop, in the fact that there is NO grime, no bangin', and no traces of the Leht-style you've come to know and love.

Rather, it's a southern folky track paired with acoustic guitar, strings, piano, melotron, and hell, we've even got a slip of music box. All of these elements match perfectly and enhance the desperation in lead singer Martina's vocal as she begs for someone to pick up the phone.
