With great anticipation since securing a ticket to Peaches' wild circus of a show over a month ago, the day in which class was in session to learn the teaches of Peaches was upon us. The front of the stage at Webster Hall was immediately packed once hearing that opener, Drums of Death, was stuck at the airport, and the school bell was ready to ring.

Beginning with a grand entrance from her backing band, The Sweet Machine, Peaches entered, stage center, in true "her" fashion wearing a large pink bubble top, lucha libre mask, and what can only be described as "various layers of leotards".

The show began emphatically with Show Stopper, off her new album, I Feel Cream, and it was the perfect way to get everyone immediately sweating and amped for a set that totaled 24 songs, and 2 encores!

Highlights included Peaches singing Operate from the upper balcony while wobbling on the handrail, donning a towel on her head and housecoat before launching into a sentimental and passionately sung version of Lose You (while accompanied by 2 projected images of her face singing backup vocals), lasers, guitars, blood and an overall wonderfully constructed theatrical show.

The full set list is below, in front of my filthy sweaty self. And you can read 2 more AWESOME reviews over at Tastes Like Caramel (pics courtesy of TLC) and MuuMuse. (PS: Anthony of TLC and I got to kick it with Peaches at the after party and even snagged 2 pics with her. We are so lucky!)

Peaches plays Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 19, and I'd suggest you get your ticket now. I'm already standing at the foot of the stage with baited breath!
