In the past year, many indie/electro faves have lent their talents to help endorse major corporations through the use of ad campaigns and television commercials. Last summer saw Santigold offer a track for Bud Light Lime and Spank Rock "Bump"-ed heads for salad dressing. But this summer will see Aussie poppers, Empire of the Sun, give their all for luxury cars.

The new BMW Z4 incorporates art and music within their new make, and Empire of the Sun have been assigned to help campaign "the art of driving". EotS re-recorded Blackbox Recorder’s The Art of Driving, in true electropop fashion, and the song will be featured as a b-side to an upcoming single from their debut album, Walking on a Dream.

The track features Luke Steele and his wife, Jodi, on vocals.

If you were to listen to this track, and tell me you didn't like it, I'd be inclined to say you were lying. But then again, these starstruck, daydreamy type tracks are what I'm super mondo feeling lately. And this one hits home like no other.
