I'll be the first to admit that I haven't posted on Passion Pit in quite the frenetic fashion as some of my colleagues [blogleagues? eh...]. When certain artists become so saturated within a network of similar genre-style sites, I tend to shy away, so as not to make the scene any more convoluted.


Today, however, I'm pleased to make a ripple in the Pit that is Passion.

First off, did you know there is a new remix contest they are hosting? Passion Pit are offering up snippets from the track, Little Secrets, here, a full month before the May 19th release of Manners. You can download the pieces, upload your mix, and share with friends and fellow fixers.

Fans will vote for their ten favorites until May 15th. After voting closes, Passion Pit will pick five remixes to be released along with a special vinyl version of Little Secrets, while five runners up will receive a copy of the vinyl and a signed CD of Manners. Official contest rules here.
