This really shouldn't be marked as "introducing" being as that I've both posted a Theophilus London track before, and he's also not new on my radar, but since I've never done an official, "get to know this cat" entry, away we go.


Theophilus London is a soul/new wave/pop artist from Brooklyn that can rap with the best of them. His style is unique and raw, powerfully profound yet quietly intimate at times. He has a knack for taking beats/samples you already knopw and turning them into tracks that you're not going to want to end.

Such is the case with Grey X Sage (Sabali remix). I've probably listened to it no less than ten times on repeat while drafting this post. Wait for the beat to kick in at 1:40 and then for London to start flowing at 1:56. This song makes me feel warm and tingly all over.

Also give an ear to Always Love U, off his This Charming Mixtape.

London is already fairly well known in certain blogworld circles, but best believe, this kid is gonna blow up.
