It hasn't been long since the superbly constructed DESIGNER DRUGS remix of Little Boots' Meddle into your laps and we didn't want your earbuds to cool off...so the lovely lads are throwing another superior remix at you, this time it's of IAMX's Spit It Out.

When you hear alot of new music - and alot of the bands making it are just copying someone else - it's easy to get jaded and lose your pulse a little. Every once in awhile, you hear something new and your pulse races, and that was my reaction when I first heard IAMX. Before I even knew who or what IAMX was, I was in love with the sounds: The electric-synthetic rhythms, the quiet nuance and swirling atmospherics, and a really unique and soul-stirring voice on the mic.

That voice belongs to Chris Corner, the guy responsible for creating Sneaker Pimps back in the day, and writing classics like 6 Underground and Spin Spin Sugar. With IAMX, Chris morphed into his own maestro, creating a dark and delicious soundtrack to love, lust, passion, & pain. For comparison, imagine a 3AM orgy between Radiohead, Underworld, Jane's Addiction, and Bauhaus, at a sweat-stained brothel in Berlin. His is star-power at it's fiercest and finest. The alternative to real world, indeed - and this Designer Drugs remix of Spit It Out ramps up the electricity and sparks to firestarter levels.
