You may know Evidence as one-third of the crew, Dilated Peoples. What you may not be aware of, however, is that his solo EP is fast approaching.

The first single from Evidence's The Layover EP is For Whom the Bells Tolls. Featuring guests from Phonte (of Little Brother), Will.I.Am and Blu, the track enforces Evidence's minimalistic, yet powerful flow and swagger.

The Layover EP will hit stores on November 25, 2008.

What do u think of this, Sheena?

I think Evidence has made essentially the same record for the past 4+ years.

I think he's comfortable in knowing what works best for him, at times, seeming like he's complacent to not break out of his comfort zone.

This track is average, so I'm anxious to see what the rest of the album sounds like.
