Which is to say, that's how bright Technologic is shining. (it's also partially a lyric to their fantastic track City Lights, which we'll get to.)


Technologic is Martina and Ray, the Netherlands finest pop/electro/new-wave duo. Together they create ambient tracks filled with tantalizing beats that envies everyone from Ladytron and Client, at times resembling Yazoo and Pet Shop Boys. That roster of musicians right there is enough to give me chills, so you can imagine how stoked we were to be invited to listen to Technologic's brilliant debut album, Classic.

The signature track on the album is We Are Technology, but we've grown to fancy City Lights even more so. As mentioned above, the lyrics (on top of a superb melody, arrangement and syncopation) completely get us titillated.
