Our love of lists feeds the fury within! In no particular order, let's meet our guests...
1. Immuzikation had a busy weekend. Churning out a handful of remixes and blends, our thirst for new amalgamations is quenched.
mp3: Jackson 5, Tittsworth, and Green Velvet - Easy Like ABC (Immuzikation Blend)
mp3: Fan Death and Hercules and Love Affair - Blind Death (Immuzikation Blend)
2. Latest obsession, Kovak, came into our ears courtesy of brilliant blog Electroqueer. Their power-packed brand of indie electropop is beyond infectious, and what's even better, is they are completely cordial to boot. Their single, I Love the Dancefloor, will be released on October 20, but our suggestion is to pre-order it here. It's ace!
3. Swedish outfit Hellsongs stepped away from the norm and have taken classic metal songs and turned them into laid back lounge music. Pairing sweet melodies, keyboards and guitars, the trio weaves rich and unusual patterns around familiar songs, for example, the below version of Black Sabbath's infamous Paranoid. Is it wrong to say this classic metal track now makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Not at all, considering their vesion of Thunderstruck is equally as sweet and comforting.
