Remember when Converse started that whole artist/shoe connection, complete with it's own web site, soundtrack and plastering of every blank canvas in the city? Well now Levis is pulling similar publicity stunts. Or marketing campaigns. Your choice of wordage, friends.
For Levis, the effort notes that "Everyone has something to reveal. They just need to be Unbuttoned." Ok, so it's not the most brilliant tag line, but they did manage to snag some high profile up and comers like Estelle and Wale, as well as blast from the past, Nikka Costa.
You can download free exclusive remixes and tracks from the artists, but it doesn't always seem to work for me. (Is it my connection or are you having issues too?)
So instead of hooking you up with a Levis exclusive, you can jam out to LX-iR's remix of American Boy. It's a pretty stark rework, but that's what we like about it. Minimalistically evoking sounds similar to harsichordial tones is something we dig on.

really good remix.
Something to say?
