This post has been 3 days in the making. See, I had taken a bunch of pictures and somehow everything came out in corrupt format except for a few we salvaged from Purple Crush's set.

No need to worry though. If you head to this flickr search, there are a ton of pics. Nicky Digital was also in attendance, so you can peep shots there as well.

How was the weather on Saturday for the first "annual" Brooklyn Electornic Music Festival at The Yard? Beautiful. The people? Hyped up on Sparks. The music? Varying between dj sets and acts with vocals, we were entertained all day long.

Highlights for us included the set by Treasure Fingers, Purple Crush's set, and the last 5 minutes we heard of Lismore. We got a late start to the day and the bike ride took a little longer than expected since we were up so late with the Metric show the night before.

Cheap beer and $3 tacos topped off a awesome time. Here's to hoping that the first annual BEMF does turn into a second, third, and so on and so forth...
