...Hot Girls in the Bathroom. Otherwise known as a single by The Dallas Austin Experience. Yes, that Dallas Austin the producer behind megahits such as: TLC's Creep; Sugababes' Push the Button; Boyz II Men's Motownphilly.

Austin's new artist project is venturing into a wide assortment of genres. Based on the 3 tracks currently streaming on his site, we have an electrodance banger, a southern blues song about untrustworthy space girls, and a political rock jam scrubbed with vocoders and tambourines.

The above mentioned song is an extreme veer away from the style of music you'd be used to hearing by the talented producer from Atlanta, GA. Hot Girls in the Bathroom verges on house with a healthy dose of synthed out electro dance. It's good enough for now and it's refreshing to see him bust out of the stereotypical influences we've come to know. I can't help but imagine that this has a short shelf life though. A saving factor could be an ultra-banging rock edit/mix. If I only had the skills.
