Last night marked The Return of Rococo: a Baroque Bash. Held at teneleven on Avenue C, the venue was fitting for such an event.

With nouveau baroque musical performances by Snazz Mammoth, guests were treated to le petit fors, strawberries, masks and champagne, along with performances by a contortionist, juggler and burlesque dancer. (although she insisted on being called a performance artist)

Overall, a fantastic event the likes of which NYC probably hasn't quite seen before. It's refreshing to know that things like this take place in a city oversaturated with wannabehipsterpopular dbags.
