Immortal Technique is prepping us all for his anxiously awaited album, The 3rd World, which has been rumored to be released since about mid 2005.


Thankfully, there is an actual release date, that being this coming Tuesday, June 24.

We've already heard the title track, which is on constant rotation in the Sheena Beaston summer of 2008 playlist. Today, he hits us up with 2 more new tracks. (and he appears to be uploading more as I write this.)

To coincide with the album release, Immortal Technique plays Highline Ballroom on the 24th with opening act Akir. What a bill.
