Flashback: to 1970's NYC at Studio54 with a drug-fueled all night party sparked by a feisty, disco, electrosexy song.

Annie is a forceful newcomer in the scene, but this Norwegian is not afraid to cross boundaries or push limits. Her underground, Madonna-sampling dance floor gem The Greatest Hit, fueled her popularity. Since then, she has released her debut album, Anniemal. (which, by the way, I think is a simple yet brilliant album title) Filled with everything from sugary sweet pop tunes like Chewing Gum, to future dance floor classics like the Royksopp-produced Heartbeat, the album makes it clear that Annie is on her way to being a superstar.
