Last Night a DJ from Peoria, Illinois Saved My Life
I must admit that the song Low by Flo Rida simply cannot make me sit still. It's such a club-banger, pole-dancer wannabe mega hit, and over the past 4-5 months, it's been getting the necessary airplay, as well as shameless promo plugs in every preview of Step Up 2: The Streets.
When something so blatantly gets continually thrown in your face, you bite the bullet, and supposedly must come to terms with your love for it.
The original is pretty vanilla, however, remixes with the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Terror Dactel have breathed new life into the song. Ultimately, the best version I've heard of this track is from a DJ hailing from Peoria, IL.
Throwupvomitupchuck recently released Flo Rida vs Van Halen. The track pits Flo Rida's Low against Van Halen's Everybody Wants Some, Unchained, Jamie's Cryin' and Panama.
You really can't get much better than that. As a bonus, check out Kanye vs Pantera below, where Kanye's Stronger rides shotgun with Pantera's Cowboys From Hell.
